Dr. Edward Brown is a patent agent with more than 20 years of experience in a wide variety of chemical and biochemical research areas. His intellectual property experience includes over five years of patent drafting and response drafting on matters involving chemical, pharmaceutical and medicinal patent applications. He has a broad range of experience in both private practice and as an in-house chemistry patent consultant in the Raleigh area.

Dr. Brown graduated from the University of California; Berkeley with a B.S. in Chemistry and received his Ph.D. from the University of California; Davis. He also continued his formal research training in the chemical arts by pursuing two post-doctoral fellowships at Yale University and at the University of Auckland.

Dr. Brown assists clients in the prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications in the chemical, pharmaceutical and biochemical arts as a patent consultant.
